Online Safety Course by European Schoolnet Academy

The European Schoolnet Academy is a platform which offers valuable courses for teachers. This course is only the last one of  a series dedicated to  innovation in the classroom.  

The Online Safety Course is about the opportunities, risks and challenges of the online world in the 21st century. Cyber bullying, online relationships, sexting, online hate speech and radicalization are only some of  the topics which will be dealt with.

One of   the tasks  is  sharing a Learning Diary, a collection of items from the course along with considerations about ideas and resources. 

Oliver Twist

Coinvolgente   spettacolo in lingua Inglese all' Auditorium "Rita Levi Montalcini" per le classi terze!

La compagnia American Drama Group ha interpretato  la nota storia di  Oliver Twist, riuscendo nell'ardua impresa di recitare in Inglese e mantenere viva l'attenzione dei ragazzi per 90 minuti.   

Gli alunni sono stati coinvolti con una recitazione vivace e con bellissimi canti a cappella.

                                 

La matematica in Inglese: giochi online

Khan Academy è una piattaforma educativa americana per l’istruzione e l’apprendimento a distanza. Gli alunni, in lingua inglese, approfondiscono la matematica, eseguendo esercizi di varia tipologia, dall’aritmetica all’algebra alla geometria. Dopo aver lavorato con i miei studenti per alcuni mesi sulla piattaforma posso dire che è un’ottima opportunità  per i ragazzi, offrendo anche agli insegnanti la possibilità di realizzare lezioni innovative.

L'insegnante di Tecnica ha fatto realizzare dei cuori intrecciati: spuntavano dappertutto, erano ovunque. 
Che splendida occasione per  realizzare delle presentazioni in inglese, usando la nuova struttura grammaticale del genitivo sassone!
